Lysol and Back To School Sweeps, Review & Giveaway

 

Thanks to MomSelect and Lysol, I was able to try out the Lysol® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System and Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes: Dual Action. Can I start by telling you how much I LOVE the No-Touch Hand Soap System?

I put the unit in my kitchen, next to the kitchen sink. It comes will 4 AA batteries, a refill and the unit itself. The soap smells really good and leaves your hands soft. There is an on/off switch in the back of the unit so the batteries don't wear down when you are not using it. My kids are loving the automatic soap dispenser!  I also love the slogan: Never Touch a Germy Soap Pump Again. ----> SCORE!!!!  I can’t wait to finish out the soap refill I have and try the other scents they have, which incledes Refreshing Grapefruit Essence™, Soothing Cucumber Splash™, Aloe Vera & Vitamin E with Moisturizers, and Antibacterial Total Care.


When you turn the unit on, there is a red light that will flash a couple of times. When the light stops flashing, your soap machine is ready to use. Wave your hand in front of the machine and a dime to nickle size soap will dispense. It took the unit a couple of tries before it would dispense the soap but after it dispensed the first drop, the unit worked perfectly every time.

Now I bet you are wondering why this is called Lysol Back-To-School. This is because it is especially important to teach your kids great hand washing and cleaning habits when going back to school. School is one of the places that has the most germs so you would want your kids to be safe. Talk to your kids about Before and After school Hygiene habits to help them learn. The next item I got to try was the Lysol® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes. These were awesome! Lysol® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes have two sides that go beyond ordinary wipes. One of the best inventions was the disinfecting wipe.  I use these all over my house.  I primarily use them when I clean the bathrooms – I wipe down everything.  Doorknobs, faucets, toilets, even the floors.  I’m convinced that this is one of the reasons my kids haven’t gotten any serious illnesses in the past few years.  I know the kinds of things kids leave behind… Yuck! I think the combination of washing hands and disinfecting everything is the key to keeping your family healthy, especially now that the kids are back at school.
