Girl Scouts Easy Bake Oven

I was so excited to find an Easy Bake Oven - Girl Scouts Edition at our local thrift store! It's in perfect condition. I don't even think it was used. It didn't come with the little tray, spatula or syringe but that was okay. When I got home, I emailed them and they were able to send me replacement parts for free, I just had to pay $2 for shipping! So this whole thing only cost me $3! 

For Christmas, my daughter wanted some little kits for the oven so when I saw these Girl Scout Cookie kits.... OMG! This was perfect! 

I had this Easy Bake Oven growing up.

In fact, I still have it in my attic... box and all! 

This was one of my favorite toys growing up. I didn't need electronics. Or cell phones.

Walmart - Back To School Savings

Can't believe school starts in 3 weeks! Back to school supplies have hit the stores and in most cases, are on sale! 

Here are a few things we scored at Walmart yesterday with some of their crazy low prices. 

Honestly, I can't see spending a lot of money on school supplies. Pencils will get lost, crayons break, pencil boxes will crack, folders will rip, markers will dry out and glue will harden. 

I also saw that Office Depot has some items for a penny with a $5 minimum purchase. You can check your local Office Depot prices here. 

Even my daughters Shopkins backpack was under $10!

There's just something about Hobby Lobby... I went in there to check out the Spring clearance they have at 66% off and saw this cute little guy looking at me. 

It's amazing how things just say... Take me home.

My Giant Shopping Trip 8/23

I was really happy to stock up on crackers yesterday! Giant has an awesome $5 instant savings sale this week on select items when you buy 7. One item included in this sale is the Premium Rounds Crackers for $1.99 each! There was a coupon to match this item, too (expired yesterday).

I love when Target has their Sobe deal with with gift card. I did 2 transactions with 10 Sobe's in each. That was I was able to roll the gift card to maximize my out of pocket expense. I used the $5 gift card I got last week with the cereal deal. So both transactions cost me $5 and then I got a $5 gift card back each time.
