Lawnmower Settlement, Up to $75 Could Be Yours

I don't usually post things like this but since this might involve anyone with a yard, I would like to take the time to post this.

The settlement of a class action lawsuit could be putting some money back in your pocket.

Owners of lawnmowers purchased between January 1, 1994 and April 12, 2010, with a 30-horse power or less gas engine, could be eligible for a cash payment. The lawnmowers must not have been purchased for resale.

The settlement includes walk-behind and riding lawn mowers, from numerous lawnmower engine manufactures. Check the list to see if your mower's engine is part of the settlement.

Lawnmower owners could be eligible for up to $35 for each walk-behind lawn mower purchased and up to $75 for each riding lawnmower purchased.

To receive the cash available under the settlement, lawnmower owners must fill out and submit a claim form. The claim form requires some basic information, the mower's I.D. number and its engine model number.

The class action lawsuit settlement stems from claims the mowers did not deliver on the horse power advertised by the engine makers.

The engine makers admit no wrong doing on their part under the terms of the settlement.

Download a claim form to see if you qualify for the cash payment.

Thank you NICOLE for letting us know about this lawsuit!
