OMG! I WON A CONTEST!!!

I really can't believe I won a contest! Last week, Fandango had a contest on facebook.

 

Fandango It's Movie Review Time! Take the time and review with a rhyme! Here’s how it works: Comment on this post with a recent movie review rhyme. The top 3 entrants with the most “Likes” on their movie review by Monday, August 30 at 10am PDT will win 2 free movie tickets each! One comment per entrant.

 

 I never thought, in a million years, that I could really win this. So I just made something up off the top of my head and hit the comment button. Then the "likes" started coming in.  

 

Here's the poem I submitted:

 

The event to see, was Toy Story 3!
With Woody & Buzz & Jessie & Ham
I was excited to see who's in the new clan.

As the movie got started, I was happy to find,
Slinky & Rex with Bulleye not far behind.

So I sat there remembering the ol crew from before,
I was happy to see Barbie with Ken and one more.
Lots O was new, with the perfect disguise,
But Bookworm and Big Baby were such a surprise!
I didn't see Wheezy, RC or Bo Peep
I wondering if maybe she lost all her sheep!
I'm try to remember if I even saw Lenny,
It could just be, Disney had just too many.
Bonnie was cute, in a new kind of way,
She reminded me of my daughter, Hip Hip Hooray!
I could really keep going, as I think this is fun,
I'm kind of excited to see if I won.

 

Lesson learned! Never go into something thinking you can't or won't win. Always give it your best shot! You might just be surprised at the outcome.
