CVS Shopping Trip 10/18

     So, I walked into CVS with only the coupon I printed out from the post about the FREE sanitizer pen I posted about HERE but didn't make it very far.  See, I think the magic coupon machine hates me. It never gives me good coupons, only the ones I know I will never use. I know if anyone was watching me, they probably thought to themselves, "What is this lady doing talking to the coupon machine?" As I approached the machine, I let out a small sigh and pulled out my Extra Care card. Then, very slowly, I approached the machine and asked, "Can you at least give me some good coupons I can use today?" With that said, the machine spit out 1 coupon. The one for the $1 off any CVS sanitizer 8oz or larger. I then waited for the screen to clear and scanned my card again. I felt like I was playing the lotto, waiting for my numbers to be called... and then it spit out 2 coupons. One for $1 off and 2 bags of Emerald Nuts and another for $1 off any snack size candy (they listed the different kinds on the coupon, I'm just too tired to remember). I went to the candy and found these bags for $1 each so they would come down to $0.50 each after my coupon and the nuts were $0.75 each so they were $0.51 for both and my free CVS sanitizer pen :)

My total came to $1.51 and then $0.06 tax equals $1.57, BUT THEN since I used my green bag tag, I earned $1 Extra Buck! So... I was a happy camper. $10 bucks says the coupon machine was laughing at me as I left! Either the machine was or the customers that just watched that whole ordeal were.
