Heads Up Friday 12/17 is National Free Shipping Day!

The 3rd Annual Free Shipping Day is upon us! It is scheduled for December 17 andis a one-day, online-shopping event when merchants offer free shipping with delivery by Christmas Eve.  This year, an estimated 1,500 merchants are participating. Offers are for the continental U.S. only and the delivery promise is only for in-stock merchandise.

The event begins at 12 a.m. EST on Friday, December 17, 2010 and ends at 12 a.m. EST December 18, 2010.

Is it worth the wait?
This does not seem to be quite the big deal it use to be as many merchants are offering FREE shipping left and right through out the Christmas season. However, they may still compete for your business on that day with additional sales and incentives…so I’ll let you know if I see any “goodies”!
