For those of you that know me... You can understand these comics.
That just happened the other night... whoops!
I have to tell you about a recipe that I found that is easy, cheap and quick to make. Take it from me... the one who can burn water... this is also perfect if you have little ones. They can help, too.
HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH
1 1/2 c WARM WATER
2t YEAST
1t SALT
1T OIL
3C FLOUR
FOR ONE PIZZA. DOUBLE THE RECIPE FOR TWO.
DISSOLVE YEAST IN WARM WATER. ADD SALT, OIL & 2 CUPS OF FLOUR. BEAT UNTIL WELL BLENDED AND SMOOTH. ADD REMAINING FLOUR TO MAKE A STIFF DOUGH. KNEAD UNTIL SMOOTH AND SATINY. DO NOT ALLOW THE DOUGH TO RISE. ROLL THE DOUGH OUT FOR A CRISPY CRUST OR PAT IT OUT FOR A CHEWIER CRUST.
PLACE IN 500 DEGREE OVEN, ON BOTTOM RACK AND BAKE ABOUT 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL THERE ARE BROWN SPOTS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CRUST. THE TOP WILL BUBBLE AND START TO BROWN. THEN REMOVE FROM OVER AND TOP WITH SAUCE AND TOPPINGS. LOWER OVEN TO 425 AND BAKE FOR ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES.
Here's what we had for dinner tonight without setting off the alarm :)
Oh my goodness, it was so good. Do you have an easy recipe?
