It's spring and time to renew things. We moved a year ago into a house with worn out carpet. We used it as an example to our kiddos as to why we have always had a no-shoes policy. I thought the taupe, flesh and ivory would be subtle in our family room but still add elegance and warmth. I loved that the material is stain and fun resistant and that it has a rug gripper to prevent shifting and sliding. Other factors we loved were that it is made in the USA and doesn't require anything more than vacuuming and spot cleaning.

My expectations were that the rug would arrive in 7-10 business days. After all, Mohawk Home is the largest maufacturer or area rugs, indoor and outdoor mats and washable rugs in the United States. Turns out, it's because they are on top of their service. The rug arrived within three days.

The difference of the rug addition to the room has been amazing. It looks much warmer and homey than before. It is also a quieter room. We love it.

Once it was down I was giddy like a school girl. I think it just really pulls the whole room together. The first thing my husband said was "I'll be laying right here tonight during our television shows."

The kiddos love resting on it to watch television or read. Li'l Man loves the textures and how the swirls rise above the rug.

I love the ease of vacuuming. It gives the room a look of clean that the carpet just wasn't pulling off.

The best thing about the rug is that it was affordable. The one I chose is listed as $69. It's an inexpensive way to give any room a new look!
