Review: StandScan PRO

How many of you wish you could pack up your scanner and take it with you on a business trip? How about when college kids head off to college? The StandScan Pro is an easy and portable on-the-go scanning station. With a built-in light to illuminate what you’re trying to take a picture of, the StandScan Pro is designed to allow your phone to rest on the top of the stand and have a steady and well-lit picture. The StandScan Pro easily folds together and folds apart which means it is very portable and can be taken wherever you go.

Inside the StandScan Pro set-up, there’s a small strip of lights that will illuminate the scanning area. These lights can be powered by batteries or powered by a wall outlet. As these two power methods come from separate chargers, you can easily pack one or the other (or take both - they don't take up any room)!

The StandScan Pro folds down to a very small size. I’d say it folds down to be about the size of a 2 pocket folder. This is perfect to go into suitcases, briefcases, bookbags, desks... I have mine inside my laptop carrying case! SCORE!!!!

The first thing I scanned was an Anniversary card from my husband. I placed my camera on top of the box, inserted my card to be scanned and clicked the camera button! How easy was that. Then I held 2 gift cards to scan...

This is so simple to use... my 4 year old daughter took it upon herself to scan a few things. So without further adieu... here are my daughter's scans :)
