    I love the books! Love the movie. Of course, Katniss is my favorite character. She is so strong and giving. I love the scene in the cave when she has to care for Peeta.

    My favorite scene in the book, even though it was so sad, was when the younger girl from a different district was dying. Katniss held her and sang a lullaby to her as she died. Then, she "buried" her in flowers. Afterward, Katniss received the bread gift from her district. Even thinking about it just now brought tears to my eyes. lol

    I like Rue and my favorite part of the book was when Katniss shot the apple while she was showing her talent and none of them were paying attention

    Believe it or not - I haven't seen or read it yet! Am I out of touch or what? I did read another series by the same author and it was excellent for both me and my 10 year old daughter!
