Colortime Crafts and Markers - Glow in the Dark #Halloween Tote #Review

My daughter recently received a Colortime Glow in the Dark Halloween Tote for review and she couldn't wait to color it!

Our package included a lightweight canvas bag and 3 markers. I like that the canvas bag was lightweight because it makes it easy to carry door to door. The 3 markers that were included were the perfect Halloween colors.

My daughter couldn't wait to color the bag! The black outlines are where you can color (I'm sure you can color all over) and then there are yellowish lines around the bag that glows in the dark.

These markers make it easy to color in the lines because of their tip.

The markers are easy to hold because of their larger size. My daughter said she had more control of the marker because it was big. They are great for little hands.

The Colortime Glow in the Dark Halloween Tote was a lot of fun and she can't wait to use it this Halloween.

Disclosure: My daughter received this tote for free in exchange for an honest review. No other compensation was given.

You’ve Been Boo-ed

Are you looking for a cute way to share Halloween treats with someone special?  Back in Ohio, a bunch of us did this throughout our neighbor hood. It was so much fun!!!  It’s called “You’ve Been Boo-ed!!“.  What you do is visit You’ve Been Boo-ed! website and print the cute little note above.  Fill a bag or cute container with Halloween Goodies (include the note)… You then visit the recipiant and ring their door bell and RUUUUUNNNN!  They open the door and all they see is the treats!

Not only was it fun to BOO the children's friends, but I LOVED to BOO the elderly people. Joey and I would run around to the older neighbors and after we rang their door bell, we would hide (so we could see their reaction). Watching them pick up the bag, read the note, smile and look around to see if they could find the person who Boo-ed them... priceless.

Not sure if the neighbors around here have been Boo-ed before, but that isn't going to stop up. We are going to start a new tradition here and we can't wait to see the reactions!!!

Have you done this?

Halloween Treats

Here's a SUPER easy treat for your little goblins and ghouls. Cookie ingredients are Keebler Fudge stripe cookies (turned upside down), Hershey Kisses attached with orange Wilton tube icing. SCORE!

Making your Jack O' lantern last

After carving your Jack O' Lantern, sprinkle cinnamon on all of the exposed "Flesh" inside and on the areas you cut (Eyes, mouth, nose, and lid). Cinnamon is actually a food preservative. The thing I also liked about this tip is that when you light the candle inside, it smells like pumpkin pie.

  • Clean plastic gallon milk jugs
  • Black permanent marker
  • Craft knife
  • String of 50 clear low-wattage holiday lights
Instructions
  1. Draw ghost eyes and mouths on the jugs. Tip: Leave the caps on while you do this, so the jugs don't dent.

Creepy Eyeball Pumpkin

http://crafts.kaboose.com/swf/eyeball-pumpkin-halloween-craft-photo-350x255-kbigler-10_rdax_65.jpg

Everyone will have their eyes on this creepy project! Make good use of that ghostly white pumpkin by turning it into one big bloodshot eyeball for Halloween

What you'll need:

  • 1 medium to small white pumpkin
  • Black, blue, red and white craft paint
  • Small foam paint brush
  • 1 wooden skewer

How to make it:

  1. Using a foam brush, paint the stem of your white pumpkin with the black paint. Also paint all around the stem black.
  2. Next paint a circle of blue around the black, just like a blue eyeball.
  3. Following the natural grooves of the pumpkin, use a wooden skewer to draw fine red lines of craft paint, making it look like bloodshot lines on an eyeball.
  4. Final step, use the same skewer to draw fine white lines of white craft paint on the black and blue part of the eye to make it look like light reflecting.
Thanks Kaboose
