Review: Pure Madness Chocolate

 

Woohoo!! I got accepted into another BzzAgent campaign! I was invited to participate in the Pure Madness Chocolate Bzzcampaign and as someone who absolutely loves chocolate, I was super excited to join!

When the True Madness Truffles and Smoked Almond Chocolate bar arrived, I couldn't contain myself. I tried to hold off until my family came home but I couldn't. When you first bite into it, you can taste the fruitiness of the lime, but the chili part does not kick in until after you swallow it. It was a neat and welcome aftertaste! I really enjoyed the rum raisin, that was probably my favorite that I got to try. For the smoky almond milk chocolate bar, I shared it with my family! We all broke a piece off and noticed it is not your typical almond chocolate bar. The smoked almonds add an entire new depth to the taste of the bar. I loved it. I let it melt in my mouth just so it would last longer!

The Pure Madness chocolate come packaged in gorgeous hot pink and black boxes. This chocolate is made by chocolate lovers for chocolate lovers. I think any chocolate lover would appreciate these chocolates! I definitely plan to buy some truffles as a gift or for the next gift giving occasion! These chocolates are presented beautifully and would make wonderful gifts!

Review: Nexxus Youth Renewal

I love my hair! I always have. Growing up my hair was always long and I had the option to wear it straight or curly. It just depending on how I felt like wearing it. Over the years, I have donated my hair to Locks of Love. When my hair would be 14" inches, I would have them braid it and cut it! I never thought twice, it was always something I wanted to do. Now, I have noticed that it is taking longer to grow, it's brittle and needs some help.

 

As soon as I opened the bottle I noticed this amazing fragrance! SCORE!!!

 

When I used the Youth Renewal Conditioner, I left it on for the remainder of my shower. I noticed that when I did this, I didn't have to fight to tangles like I normally do. SCORE!!!

 

I used the Lift and Blow Dry Spray and then used the hair dryer halfway thru. My hair felt (and smelled) amazing with this product! I highly recommend the Youth Renewal line from Nexxus!

BzzAgent: MorningStar Farms® Veggie Burgers

 

I have to admit...MorningStar Farms® got me! MorningStar Farms® veggie burgers are beyond delicious. I know it is so hard to believe, but they really do taste just like beef! SCORE! They are incredibly delicious!

I served up our burgers sandwich style on toasted bread with lettuce, mozzarella, and  a tomato! I am DEFINITELY going to add these to my shopping list! I was amazed at how light they were to be honest. I am sadly so used to grease, that I was really surprised to be enjoying a non-greasy burger!

They also cook incredibly fast, so be sure to keep an eye on them while cooking. They definitely cook a lot faster than your standard beef patty. As my husband says... LOW and SLOW!

Each patty is approximately 170 calories with 39% less fat than ground beef.

BzzAgent: Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cereal

My family absolutely LOVES cereal!!  Not only does my family like eating cereal at breakfast, they also find that cereal makes a great snack!

When my kit arrived, I receive a big box of the Golden Honey Nut variety, along with four $.50 off coupons.  SCORE!!!

My children loved the cereal. One bowl just wasn't enough for them. They liked the texture, the taste of honey and the little nut pieces on the flakes. The crunch held up in the milk with is a SCORE because who like soggy cereal?? I think we just SCORED another breakfast cereal!!

Overall, this cereal has been a hit with everyone I have encountered. It is definitely a product that we will be purchasing more of in our household.

So excited to try out a Morning Star Farms product. I am always interested in finding healthy meals for my family, and happy to have a chance to keep Meatless Monday going with a burger! Can't wait to try them.

Review: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream

 

Woohoo!! I got accepted into another BzzAgent campaign! I was invited to participate in the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Bzzcampaign and as someone who constantly uses hand creams, I was super excited to join!

This campaign came at the perfect time! My hands get so chapped during the winter months... they kind of feel like sandpaper :(

The box contained a FULL SIZE Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. This is a 2 oz tube and it is fragrance free. WOW! This tube has over 200 uses and is a concentrated formula. I loved how my hands didn't feel sticky/gummy! 

I also received 6 small .5 oz samples for friends and family! I passed these out to some of my friends and they loved the results!!

Overall I would highly recommend this product.

Review: Afrin® Stick Up for Yourself™

Oh the weather outside if frightful... Yep, you guessed it! The cold season is approaching which means coughs, sniffles, and sneezes are well on their way!! Add a stuffy nose to that and it makes this time of year even worse. Don't let it get you down this time... Stick Up For Yourself! With Afrin.

Afrin is a no drip, fast and powerful congestion relief nasal spray that is made to get the job done! It comes in a pump mist that delivers the measured dose needed and lasts for 12 hours! SCORE Afrin comes in 4 different types: Original, Extra Moisturizing, Sinus, and Severe Congestion.

I was give the chance to try out Afrin's Original 12-hour nasal decongestant spray and have to say I'm very pleased with the product.  I've tried several nasal sprays before - from the ones that are just simple saline to the prescription.

When I tried the Original NoDrip Afrin, I was pleased that the product stood by it's word that it wouldn't drip back out of my nose and didn't drip down the back of my throat upon application.

Important to know, is that the box states to not use this product for more than 3 days and that frequent use can cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.  Only use Afrin for 3 days or less.  I've heard that people can get addicted to these types of nasal sprays and can't breathe well without using them.

Review: COVERGIRL Blast Flipsticks

Have you heard of BzzAgent? They often let you try out new products and services for free in exchange for your honest review. For this review, I received 3 COVERGIRL Blast Flipsticks; Minx, Vixen & Stunner! SCORE!!!

With the BlastFlipStick you have many color combinations available in the same container! In one container you have 2 lipsticks, so you can try each one on it's own. Then try one color on the bottom and dab on a little of the other... POOF!! Instant amazing!

You are able to twist the ends as well to get the lipstick longer too in case it wears down. The clear caps enable you to see which color you want to use before opening as well. I love how the applicator is small and angled so you can neatly apply the lipstick. These are great to use and perfectly shaped.

I definitely would wear this a lot though as it lasts long and doesn't come off easily. Plus, there are so many possibilities with the colors... SCORE!!!

BzzAgent Review: Burt's Bees Intense Hydration

After one day of using my new Burt's Bees products, I could feel and see a difference in my skin!  I used the cream cleanser first. Burt's Bees cream cleanser only leaves behind a fresh scent while naturally cleansing my skin.  My skin felt entirely refreshed!  I continued with my usual swipe of toner and finished with the night cream.  It absorbed right into my skin without leaving a greasy feeling behind. I love the smell of the Pineapple & Mangosteen. It makes the room smell amazing! I can just sit back, relax and smell the... PINEAPPLE! This is a wonderful scent!
